About Us

Regency has been owned and operated by the same family for over the past 40 years, originating from the UK, Regency began operations in Australia in 2016. The current generation of the Stewart family building and operation Regency now is James, Katie and Jo Stewart.

An Equestrian family through and through, moving to Australia in 2005, importing Jo’s childhood pony “Lady” with us. Currently owning 12 horses, and owning and running “Meadowgrove Stud” from our home property in Wilberforce NSW, we completely understand horses are just as much a family member as anyone else. By owning various horses, and breeding, we also understand each horse has their own specific needs, just like people.

Katie, Regency’s main sales consultant, is also a competitive NSW FEI Dressage Rider with her mane man Frederico R, she is also the main person in charge of the daily running’s of the home stud. The perfect person to help you design the most comfortable way of transporting large performance horses, as well as helping you find a safe and effective way of transporting valuable broodmares and their young.

Jo, Regency’s Director and Sales Consultant, has had a passion for horses since she was a young child. Growing up, she spent most of her time at her local stables in Abbots Langley, England. With her Father purchasing her first pony, Lady, as a 2 year old, Jo did everything on her own from teaching her the basics on the ground, breaking her in and from their going onto being a competitive Cross Country combination. Lady moving country with us and growing old to the rip age of 35, teaching her daughters Katie and Sophie the ropes of riding. Today, Jo has “Lottie” a homebred Quarter horse mare and also runs the home stud with Katie. With a long knowledgeable background, Jo is also another perfect person for understanding your horses individual needs.
