Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I absolutely love my Regency float. It tows beautifully—actually better than my 2HSL, even though it’s around 500kg heavier! It feels solid and well-balanced behind my 150 Series Prado. I don’t actually think my fuel consumption has changed, which really surprised me given the extra weight.
The float looks stunning and prestigious, and it’s extremely spacious. My horses travel really well in it and clearly feel safe and comfortable.
I did have an issue with delivery—I originally paid for the version with level chequer plating all the way around, but the float that arrived had a different VIN and came with high front corner plating instead. It was quite a different style to what was advertised, and I was very disappointed at first, especially having paid a premium price.
That said, after seeing where the mud from our dirt road splashes up on the front of the float, I can tell this style of chequer plating will definitely be more suitable long term. So while it wasn’t what I ordered, it’s probably ended up being the better option for our conditions.
Overall, I’m thrilled with the float and would absolutely buy another from Regency again—next time I’d just go in person to collect so there were no surprises. The quality and design are excellent, and my horses love it.
